Last Friday we learnt about how water changes into ice. First we had a bunch of ice in the glove. After morning tea the ice was melting. Next we had a kettle. The water was cold. We put the kettle on and the water started to get hot and turned into steam. Finally we had an ice cube in our hands. It melted because we rubbed our hands. Something I'm really really good at is maths especially the blocks and the money.
Mrs Blair gives us lots of different questions and they are sometimes hard and sometimes not. She would grab some coins and some notes and put them out. And then you have to count in 10's and find out how much money there is. There is $52 dollars here.
My favourite thing to do in room 6 is to read. Right now, I am reading 'The Big Bed.' It's lots of different stories in one book. My favourite one is 'shapes are fun.' I like the rocket best.
What is your favourite thing to do in room 6?
Maths and taking away. Mrs Blair gives us pretend money and then each of us get to take away one and we have to remember how much there was.
If I had $50 and you wanted $30, I would take away 2 so I would have $20 left.
What's your Favourite thing to do in room 6?
the I-pad. I like reading eggs because there are lots of games that I like. This game is fun because you can paint and there are all sorts of things you can do. Oh I love this!
I can use fire in many different ways. My Mum uses a stove to cook a delicious meal. My Dad uses matches to light candles for a cake when it is my birthday. I had six candles. My Dad's sister uses fire to heat up the room. She keeps it in a fireplace so it does not spread. If it did spread it could burn down the house, but it won't. My Dad uses a pizza oven to make delicious pizzas. They are very crunchy. My favourite topping is pineapple. I love it with pineapple.

One rainy night Mum was cooking dinner. The dinner was very yummy. Mum was very hungry too. The pots were full of food. The food was spaghetti and meatballs. Mum went to talk on the phone so the pots jumped of the stove. They went out for dinner.

Winter is when I go to the snow with my family. It looks like lots of rain. It sounds like ice cracking on the ground. It feels like freezing on my fingers. It smells like my wet dog when he has been for a walk in the rain. When I come in and my mum gives me French toast.
